TEDxManhattan will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the TimesCenter in New York City. This annual, one-day TEDx event explores the food system as we shift to a more sustainable way of eating and farming. The goal of “Changing the Way We Eat” is to create new synergies, connections and collaborations across disciplines, to unite different areas of the food movement, and to introduce the TEDx audience to the exciting and innovative work being done in this field.
Admission to the event is based on an online application. Click here to fill out the online form.
And if you find you can’t make it in person to the event, please find a viewing party in your area – or, better yet, organize your own viewing party! Visit our Viewing Party page for more information.
About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. [Subject to certain rules and regulations.] For more information about TED and TEDx, please visit www.ted.com.
